Default When can I wax?

Hi all. Just got a brand new black Z on Saturday and was wondering when I can give it a nice wax? I figured it would be good to get protection for the paint as soon as possible to keep the like-new condition, but a friend of mine said I should wait a couple of weeks to let the paint "settle". Any suggestions?

You should be able to go ahead and wax/polish it. The paint has already cured for two months since it takes that long between the time it is built and it arrives in the U.S. It probably spent a month on a ship in transit from Japan. I recommend Zaino polish instead of wax, but that is a entirely different issue.
