Default How long till i can wax my car after paint job???

i was just wondering b/c i have a show coming up and i just painted and put everything on last friday and i was thinking of waxing it on thursday of this week, is this possible???

Can you give us a little hint on the details? Did you paint it yourself or did a body shop? Was it heat cured or are you leaving it outside in 40º temperatures in hopes that it is drying?

If you had it professionally painted, then they should be able to tell you what a safe waiting period would be.

some ppls said at least 3 months

but i am not sure......

my door just got a new paint .....i still thinking about it too

how much does it cost for a car to be paint. entire car.

just want to get some general figures.

Depends on the paint hardner used, The stuff used on my bumper/fenders (rock chip touch ups) the guy said it was good to go from day one.
