I prefer Wolf Car Covers

I got the 'Block-it' Evolution fabric

Excellent fit, good price (if you search around the net you should find it for ~$100), and very high quality.

Those Wolf covers look suspiciously like Covercraft, hmm. Anyway, here's a guide that gives you some comparison information.

You might want to look at the cover from Performance Niisan.

I bought the Genuine Nissan cover from Courtesy. It has all the features that you would expect for $200:

Window for license plate
Antenna pouch
Grommets for tie-down
Insulation to protect from exhaust burn

The cover is on the Z about 16 hours/day: wind, rain and snow. Its water repellent, not waterproof. A light rain and the car is dry. During a heavy downpour, the car will get wet. For care, I wash it in a front loading commercial machine, then dry it on the car. Then spray the top with Scotch Guard. I can take it on or off in about 3 minutes. A week after washing the Z (and using the cover), the Z is clean except for the front wheels. Definitely recommended.

I have an INGS half trunk spoiler and will be getting the INGS LX/half kit within a month. If I buy the OEM cover, will that fit my car? If not, can I buy it and have someone modify it?

Covercraft and Wolf use the same material supplier, I believe. However, the fitment and cut of the cover are different. Also, for some reason I've found covercraft to be more on the expensive side (possibly due to brand name recognition - like how Alpine rode on their reputation during the mid-90s).

Either brand is a good choice, though.

How is the inside of the Genuine Nissan cover lined?

I probably wouldn't do it, but hopefully others with experience can chime in.

I wash my z before covering it, so no real experience. But I'd imagine that if the car is very dirty then it will more than likely scratch the paint.

I have problems with cats also Wired 24/7, and my cover protects the paint from them. I also wish I could shoot them.

I bought the same oem cover as davidv and I love. Good fit and easy to put on. You can order it from nissanwholesaleparts.com. They are still running their Xmas sale for $175.20.

The Wolf car cover (evolution fabric) seems great... no complaints. The inside is really soft, and the outside seems durable. I got a bag to stuff it in too, which was a good idea.

Fits like a glove (I took off my antenna, you could also cut a hole for the antenna) and easy to take on/off. Thanks for the recommendation.

Let me get this straight --- if you want to lock it, you run a cable through a wheel and then through the grommet/hole thingie then padlock it right?

You're welcome.

That's correct. Typically, I'll just run the cable under the car (not through the wheel) because the car is parked with the cover on in my driveway.

I can post a picture of my Wolf cover on the Z, too, but I might have to wait until next weekend so I can wash the car first.
