Default Which Cleaner Wax is the Best?

Hey guys I need to find a really good cleaner wax, dont worry its not for the z but for my company car that has really bad swirls and "dirty paint". I dont want to spend the time of a zaino job or anyting like that. Just a good cleaner wax so i can get the paint in pretty decent shape before a good polishing wax. Thanks for any advice or opinions!!

John

Try some 3M Swirl Mark Remover. That will remove most minor surface imperfections. You can always go back over tough spots with a medium or fine compound then redo those areas with the SMR. It will leave the surface squeaky clean!

Mequiars Scratch-X does wonders, and it's available most everywhere. A cleaner wax does not remove scratches.

My car is two weeks old, Black 06, when should I apply my first coat of wax since the car literally came from Japan only two weeks ago?

For one step cleaner wax I recommend Prestone Bullet.

Gee, since when did Prestone become a highly respected name in the automotive wax and polish market? I'd buy antifreeze from them, but not car waxes and polishes.

Since the objective testing by Consumer Reports showed that the results of 3-bottle packages where no better than one-step waxes. I’ve been using Prestone Bullet on the 350Z since it was new. Very pleased with the results. To each his own.

all those swirls are just going to come back within a month with a cleaner wax. All its doing is filling in the swirls temporarily.

A really great cleaner wax is Meguiars Color X. Has some great cleaning abilities and leaves a great shine.
