Default Vacuum Recommendation?

I am looking for a good powerful vacuum cleaner that will last. I am tired of hauling quarters to the self-carwash place and then running out before I am finished! The place is also shady! Anyways, looking for a recommendation for a vacuum that will fit nicely in the hatch and is powerful enough to do the job well. Thanks.

ShopVac.... ALL THE WAY!

You can get small ones that might fit in your trunk, but beware, they are a tap more expensive....

Shop vac is the way to go. A lot of them sell a detailing kit that works in conjunction with the shop vac. It's a smaller, lighter hose and has all the attachments that you need: crevice tool, brush, carpet tool, etc.
