Default heavy dirt removal

I have a layer of dirt on my car, I park in a quasi construction zone(yeah yea yah) their renovating a building and the work trucks park in that area, so I have to drive through the dusty ground, and its always blowing around(no choice, I love the car, but its a working vehicle)

so anyway, it got extra dirty this week cause its windy. so any good ways to remove this other than wiping it off and scratching the paint. it wont come off with simple hosing. my best method in the past is multiple rags, and a rinsing bucket. any better ways?

Take a nozzle of a hose and lightly rinse off the dirt. For washing I would get a good lubercated shampoo. Have you thought of getting a carcover? Just an idea?

I pull into and out of the parking lot 2 or 3 times a day. covering it would be a massive hassle, and it would be impossible to put the cover on a clean car at all times, so Id be afraid Id just grind the dirt in. but it is a good solution, just not practical for my case.

Best way is great soap.. extra suds.. and clean/dirt wash bucket. Keep the mitt real clean.. on a real dirty car.. you will only be able to do a small section (like 2ft) before you see dirt in the mitt.. so rinse it immediatly. Keep rinsing and you'll be ok. Rinse every time before going for more suds. If you see *any* color in your mitt.. rinse. Keep the clean bucket clean by dumping when it gets dirty as well.

MY350isbtrthnurz is right! You need a lubricating shampoo. I like the Pinnacle shampoo. It seems to have oils in it that make the mitt slide easy over the surface.

Just make sure to spray off as much of the loose dirt as possible before you start.
