Default Question on using the car cover..

I got the official Nissan 350Z car cover.. Now I want to cover it as much as possible like almost every overnight sitting. But I feel like I am gonna scratch the car since its usually a bit dirty, i don't mean chunks of mud or anything. Just basically road dust and some dirt spots behind the wheels.. Now what i am asking is should I only put the cover on the car when it is spotless clean or is it ok to put it on with some road dust and grime in a few areas? It really doesn't make sense to me have to wash the car before putting the cover on everytime.

Thanks in advance for your input!

Get yourself a California Duster and use it before you put the cover on. If you let the daily "road dirt" accumulate and then keep putting the cover on it will start to scratch the paint. Just because you see most of the dirty behind the wheels I'm sure there has to be dust on the rest of the car.

If you put it on a dirty car you will get swirl marks and scratches. Better to go no cover when car is dirty.

I have a cali duster, and I was pretty sure it was only for the interior since its treated with a armor-all like substance?
