Default crap on my clearcoat!

so some guy keyed my trunk lid so i had it repainted by this noname local nonlicensed guy. it as cheap but i think as he let the clearcoat dry, specks or flakes or something landed on the lid. now i have all these bumps with what looks like specks in it on my clearcoat every 6 cms or so. can't tell unless you look close, but you can feel it if you can run your finger across it.

my question is, can I polish this stuff off? or does it need a whole new sand and clearcoat? thanks.

You might just need a colorsand on the clearcoat and polish and rebuff. Can't tell without seeing in person though.

Take it to a local bodyshop (a real one this time ) and see what they say.

Upon reading the title, I thought for a second that you were asking us to crap on your clearcoat

Polishing it well should fix the problem, but your best bet would be to find a reputable detailer in your area and have him take a look at it. He will figure something out.

Return the car to where you had it painted and ask.
