I haven't purchased a car in some years now and I wanted to know it the Z has a clearcoat finish or not. I wanted to know if I will need to buy the Z-2or Z-3.

I think all new cars have a clearcoat finish nowadays, don't they? The Z does.

Dobs, Z2 only. Zfx if you want to do more than one coat per day.
Is that damn thing in your hands yet???

 

I know it's a clear coat, thus Z-2 is in order. Just checked under the hood for good measure and sure enough, on the left (or is that the vacuum hose diagram...could be right) hand side..the sticker reads "hard clear coat".
