Default good towels for drying ?

I just purchased zaino 2, 7, 8 , 9 , 10, 1 app, 2 towels for detailing and I need a towel suggestion for drying the car after wash. Any good dry-towel suggestions ?

1) When you rinse, "sheet" the water from the top down so the majority of it will run off.

2) Pat dry the remaining spots with a waffle-weave microfiber towel: http://www.properautocare.com/bigbludryint.html

3) Use a leaf blower to blow the water from all the hard to dry places.

Item #11117 from: www.griotsgarage.com It measures 25" X 35". When you rinse using the "sheet" method, one towel is all you need!

I second griots drying towel, expensive, but very nice. You can also go the economic route and get the Meguires waffle weave drying towel to sheet the water and follow up with some microfiber towels with a quick detail spray.

I blot my car dry with the Absorber.

Just be sure to wash it frequently, otherwise it can leave some dirt marks on your car.

LOL guess I'm the only one who uses a straight out of the washer/dryer machine bath towel to get the bulk off the water off, then use another clean unused bath towel to wipe of the risidual drops/moisture left from the first towel.

I haven't had any problems with this on my redline yet but I have to admit my drying cloth of choice could use an upgrade

i don't apply any presure to them. i would not wash a black Z this way tho.

I use Micro Cloth. And my Electric Leaf Blower. First I blow off everything and every crack with my $29.99 Toro Leaf Blower I bought at Home Depot and then touch dry up with my micro cloth. I also use a micro cloth wash mitt too. No swirls and no scratches. Ust Meguiars for all else. Step 1 cleaner, Step 2 Polisher, and Step 3 Wax. But micro cloth is another good way to go for drying and polishing needs. I actually buy my through Costco some of the same products that Griot's Garage has and I also buy some products from Griot's (www.griotsgarage.com)

They are great, but probably better suited for polish/wax removal.
