Default Does Z-6 really make a difference?

I've been using Z-6 between layers of Z-2, but I don't really see much of a difference in the shine. I guess it doesn't help that my Z is Chrome Silver so it doesn't shine like the darker colors. How do other Zaino users feel about Z-6? Is Z-6 worth the extra step?

It seems to make the surface slicker and also seems to remove some static electricity. I think it helps remove any residual "dust" from the Z2 or Z5 also.

Default I with you spf4000

I use the stuff religously but I oftem wondered why. I use it to remove spots, or just a quick touch up. However I agree with you I really do not see what it does. I tried another coat if the polish with and without it ... no difference!

Just an observation maybe I am missing something. BTW I did it on a dark color.

I agree. The Z-6 does help remove any remaining residual Z2/5, but if I buff enough, I don't have any to worry about. In between the layers, however, I'm not too careful about buffing because I don't see a point in making sure the car is absolutely sparking before I put on an additional coat.

Would dedicated Z-6 fanatics care to offer their views?

Most Zaino users use more Z-6 than anything else, I know I do.

I noticed a difference after the Z6. I thought it made the finish deeper and slicker.

Zaino claims 60% less static charge after Z6. After the first week of my first Zaino application, Z6 of coarse being the final layer, the finish was way cleaner than before with no Zaino. No Z6 for over a week and it is still way cleaner than before Zaino. I did not wash her this weekend. First time I have not washed her for over a week at a time, and it rained last week!

The stuff is awesome!!!

Z-6 has more uses than any other Zaino product, after several layers of Zaino polish you get to a point of being maxed out on shine so naturally you might not see a boost in gloss every time you use Z-6, but Z-6 does these things:

Reduces dust build up, makes the car easier to wash on the next wash, remove finger prints, remove fresh water spots, is good on glass, removes fresh tree sap, removes fresh bugs, etc.

All my Zaino customers always carry a bottle of Z-6 and a towel in their cars when they go anywhere, you can not tell when you might get bombarded with bird doo that needs to be removed immediately and Z-6 is good for that.

I will Z-6 by car or truck just to detail it out for a show or cruise as not to miss any spots so there are no imperfections anywhere on the surface, and Z-6 is good for this.

So if you pretty much max out on the shine after several layers, should I just skip the Z-6 step in between the layers, and just use it as the final step when I Zaino my car?

Using Z-6 inbetween coats is just a guidline, it is not a HAVE to thing.

In my case, being I have so many coats of Zaino on my cars I go 4 to 6 months without adding another coat of polish, all I do is wash with Z-7 (which contains Z-2 so as you wash you polish also) and then detail after each wash with a coat of Z-6.

Couldn't go without Z6.

Here in So. CA, the dust coats the beautiful pearl DB as soon as I hit the streets. Z6 keeps the surface slick so when it's time to use the CA Duster, the dust just comes off very easily wihtout a scratch.

I know Z6 works because I can blow most of the dust off of the surface, with Z6 vs. without.

It also gives a deep luster mirror finish on the DB. The car looks like a giant Candy Apple Blue when the sun hits the surface.

This is very interesting to hear. Never read that in any of the Zaino literature.
