Question Leather care

I use those cream/lotion like leather care, the problem is that there are dots on the Z's leather seat and the cream/lotion always get into the dots and is very hard to wipe them out. Anybody have the same experience? And what do you do?

Also any leather care product is liquid-like?

Thx..

I use meguiars Leather conditioner/cleaner. It comes in a spray bottle. Its not a cream.. but a liquid substance.. works great for my leather seats.. and it also has UV protectant. Gotta have that protection here in sunny Cali.

I use Zaino Leather conditioner. The smell alone is worth using it. But it leaves behind no slick, oily residue. Leather feels really soft afterwards.

I used Meguiars Gold Class Leather Creme on my 95 Prelude VTEC's seats since it was new and they are still in mint condition. I would apply it about once a month.

Speaking of the perforations, my Prelude had them too. What I would do is do the unperforated parts first. After this the cloth I was using would be pretty well saturated with the conditioner. Then, I would just wipe down the perforated section with the saturated cloth. That way the holes wouldn't fill up with the conditioner. It worked well.

Sadly, my Enthusiast model has cloth so no leather for me! Maybe I will do the Katzkin upgrade. Good luck with your leather!

I use the Zaino leather stuff. It is also a cream but I don't have any trouble getting it in the "dots." Just put it on the applicator instead of directly to the seat. Just don't put a lot on and you'll be fine. Another thing to try is to wipe the leather on the sides without the dots first, this will smear it evenly on the applicator so that it won't build up in the dots. Hope this helps.
