Default Glass cleaner recommendations?

Does anyone know of a good glass cleaner? I have all these tiny white dots on my windshield that don't come off unless you scratch them really hard. I have no idea where they came from, but what's odd is that they only appear to be on the windshield.

I have a feeling it could be from something used at the hand car wash place I take the Z to, but I don't know for sure. I tried using an ice scraper to get them off, but there was little progress after a few minutes of heavy use so I gave up.

Any suggestions or recommedations will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The Zaino glass cleaner does wonders.

http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/...ory_Code=Zaino

We searched for years trying to find a glass polish that really works as advertised. Frustrated with the results, we decided to engineer our own. Introducing Z-12 Clear-View Glass Polish™. Formulated with mild abrasives, Z-12 Clear-View Glass Polish™ deep cleans and polishes all glass surfaces with ease. It quickly removes acid rain spots, hard water spots, road film, stubborn bird stains, and that annoying interior glass film. Z-12 Clear-View Glass Polish™ is so effective, it even removes fine to medium scratches. We have yet to find a stain that Z-12 Clear-View Glass Polish™ did not remove from glass. It leaves glass crystal clear and sparkling.

I like the Meguiar's NXT glass cleaner.

Try using a razor blade to scrape the specs off the windshield.

Stoner Invisible Glass, is the best IMO. It's cheap and you can pick it up at most Wal-Marts.

Ive treid zaino but i like stoners better. Its easier to take off and it doesn't leave streas, even when used with regular paper towels. No lint either.

It is really hard to beat griotsgarage.com products. Their vinyl and rubber cleaner as well as glass cleaner are the best I have used. I have liked Zaino products in the past as well, but like griots and meguires stuff for ease of use and price.

clay bar the window with soapy water as the lubricant and then use Stoners for a streak free finish.

you can also try distilled white vinegar.
that should make it come off almost instantly.

just makes sure to wash it with soap or something real quick afterwards, to make sure the vinegar gets rinsed away.

+1 on the Distilled Vinegar. I would use that and newspaper to wipe it with. The newspaper will give you streak-free shine too.
