Default Compound...?

Well, some ******* keyed my car and also somebody that was driving it hit a painted curb and there is paint and slight scratches below the passenger side door. I think I will use compound to get rid of that, but how about the scratches? Should I just let the Nissan dealership fix them with touch up paint? Does anyone know if it will look good after that...I'm a little skeptical, although the scratches aren't that deep I really want to get rid of them so any advice is welcome...

It depends on the color, Also go to a reputable body shop and they can airbrush the scratches out.
