I was just wondering on what the most effective wax kit is out there for a reasonable price. I read somewhere here on the forum that someone paid like $3000 for a wax kit. I looking for something that you guys have used and are happy with the outcome for something around the price of $Free.99 and $100.
Dont get sucked up in a Yuppie overkill ---Get a bottle of Zymol or eqivilent and some top of the line towels, and maybe a 40.00 elec buffer. Got a friend that has a 04 Super Black and its flawless. I got a CS so I dont have to work it so hard

There is definitely a difference between something like turtle wax and pinnacle souveran. ie: 10.00 vs 80.00 wax, and an even greater difference if you were to actually cough up the dough for something like concourso. With that being said, you'll notice depth, clarity, warmth and pop when using better carnubas. The white carnuba content is what really makes the difference in price and results. The higher the content, the better the wax.
Now, with that being said, the best carnuba for a reasonable price is going to be poorboys nattys. Regular price is around 15.00 for an 8oz jar. If you want to go a little further, you can always do a paint cleaner first, then glaze it, then finish with a carnuba. Because, as GMZ said, the results are really in the prep work.
Let me know if I can help any more

Okay its my fault for not putting in the details.
I have an 06 PPW, Touring with the Frost Interior.
i noticed that some of the waxes mentioned are for darker cars. I want to know what the best wax if got a PPW, AND! what might be a nice leather seat cleaner beacuse my frost colored seats are starting to look like denim.

Poorboys makes two version of nattys; blue and regular. The blue is formuluated for darker color cars, and regular for lighter colored cars. Clearkote carnuba moose wax is also very popular.
For the leather seats, i'd say it depends how bad they are. If they are showing signs of stains I would hit them with p21s total auto wash. I've had phenominal luck cleaning leather w/ this stuff. Spray it on, agitate with a soft bristled brush, then wipe off w/ a terry or mf towel. You can then maintain with your leather care of choice.
