Default PSA: claybar and polish your exhaust tips

after 52k miles, of which 30k were with test pipes my tips werent looking so great.

but in about 30mins, they looked new again.

First, claybar with a tiny chunk of clay and some of the supplied liquid.
then, polish with some aluminum polish and your done.

I use this wadding material thats already wet with metal polish. Eagle 1 makes it I think. Works very well. Problem is, when the metal is cold, it attracts dirt very easy. Itll just get dirty again.

yeah i use some meguirs claybar and mothers aluminum polish. I should have taken a before photo just to show how nasty the tips were. They did not shine and were just ugly. The clay brought it back to decent, the polish made it shine.

Yeah, I use the same stuff. I usually rub the polish on, let sit for 10minutes until it hazes over, then buff the haze out. Looks really shiny!

eagle one metal polish (paste version). put on like wax and then use a microfiber rag to take off. Looks like new.
