Thumbs up Clear Bra Saved My A**

Just wanted to share with you guys why any protection is better than no protection. My Z is my daily driver. I was on my way to work this morning going about 70 ish when I notice a black object bouncing its way across the freeway. As luck would have it, it bounced underneath the car ahead of me and deflected its way towards my car. As it got closer I could make out that it was a 12 inch piece of black rubber tubing about 1 inch wide. No time to swerve, "Oh crap, oh crap - BANG!" It hits the bumper and flies to the side (thank goodness not over the top) of the car.

My initial reaction was that the bumper was cracked. My second reaction was that it probably tore through the clear bra. Here is the scene upon inspection:

Default Later that day...

It appeared that the bumper 1) had no structural damage and 2) no paint damage either - my skepticism about the clear bra's effectiveness is officially moot.

After some vigorous wiping with a terry cloth, the rubber stains were gone. Daily Z drivers take note: On the freeway, sh*t happens. Any protection is better than none.

Thanks for reading. Safe driving.

Thumbs up

Good for you Ganz...at least it didn't tear through, which would have meant another drive up to Edre....

How many miles are you at now?

lol, no kidding, I mean it would still be bad if it was not split toe flip flops, then you'd be a high school soccer player....but socks with split-toe flip flops? Oh man, busted!
