Default Do you clean your car at a carwash?

I've had my car for about a month and a half. I am totally paranoid about bringing it to a carwash and only clean it at home. Before I had a Honda Civic (whose sale helped finance my Z) and had no on problems with having it cleaned at a carwash. With the Z its different. Do the rest of you feel the same way or am I overprotective? I can't get used to the idea of some stranger slamming and bouncing around in the car with rags, cans, and vacuum cleaner hoses.

Never.

If your looking for products and ideas on how to care for your Z here is one source of both info & products:

http://www.properautocare.com/index.html

One suggestion: look through the above site for microfiber cloth products for washing, drying, & wax applicators. Big Blu III towels are great & last forever.

A drive thru car wash???? Ummmmm....is Chelsea Clinton a hottie?? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! and HECK NO! Only my careful hands ever wash my Z.

No offense but you are going to get extremely flamed. Don't worry, we all ask silly questions sometimes.

I dont even let the dealer wash mine after sitting in the shop for almost a month!

Things I swear by:

microfibre towels
waterblade
big blue towel
Cali duster
Miguires Quick detailer <**** is awesome!

thinkin of getting a leafe blower but now sure yet...

No. There are very few people I would trust with my car. I don't even use valet.

which ones do you go to?

I'm guilty of taking my car to a do-it-yourself car wash. I only take it one usually and I've been using it for 8 years.

I used one in Orlando one time because it was right before Z-Fest...I have no idea wtf they used as chemicals but it screwed up my rims

Now that's what we like to hear. Glad we've been a positive influence on caring for your Z.

If you rather not do it yourself...make sure that whoever does it for you is somebody that knows wat they're doing.
