Default Glass cleaning help...

OK... I can't get my glass clean for ****. Inside, outside, everywhere. I've tried several different glass cleaners, microfiber towels, a specifically-made-for-glass-cleaning rag, newspaper, paper towels etc... I even claybar'd the ****... I can't clean it. Waterspots are in there good. The inside of the glass, all I get is smears. I use new paper towels/rags everytime I wipe, but it still smears. They'll even be clean AFTER wiping but still leaving smears.

Any ideas?

I'm a professional detailer.

Put some vinagar on the a towel and wipe the windows for water sports.

People think windows are easy to do, it's not. Make sure you spray the whole window with cleaner. I see people just do a quick spray and then they are smearing it up because its not well lubricated. Spray a lot of window cleaner on the windows, wipe most of the cleaner off, then the rest, use a new sheet of paper. Done.

Aside from cleaners, what I found helps is just a plain terrycloth towel and scrubbing the crap out of it as hard as you can. I didn't have "water spots" mine was more of a haze that the cleaners couldn't take off.

Thanks. What kind of spray do you suggest? I'm using Invisible Glass right now.

I'll do the vinegar tonight. Will it f up my stickers?

Two suggestions, first the only news paper you should use is USA today because of the change in ink the other papers smear!
Second as mentioned above use the distilled white vinagar with a damp magic eraser by Mr. Clean! I also detail cars.

+1

another thing i want to add is that if you don't lubricate the window a lot, newspaper will scratch the hell out of glass and then you won't be too happy.

I tried the Magic Eraser, but without the vinegar (didn't work)... I'll try it with.

Thanks for the tip on USA Today.
