Default Minor scratch and scuff marks

Okay well as the title says I have a minor scratch right underneath my right taillight and about 3 scuff marks under my door. I dont know how these things got there because I BABY my car. I was extremely pissed today when I was checking out my car and saw these things. Well I would just like to know what you guys recommend to removing these things. I have not tried washing the scuff marks off yet because I just had surgery done and cant really get out and do it yet but just some help or tips would be nice. Thanks.

A swirl mark remover should take care of the scuff marks. Depending on how deep the scratch is, you might work it out with the SMR, otherwise, you're gonna need a fine polishing compound. If fine compound doesn't take it out, you'll need medium then follow it up with the fine. My choice is 3M products.

Check out this site for details on how to take care of paint problems like those...

I had a similar experience. Very small but I took it to a shop and had it professionally buffed out. I think they used a 2000 grit sand paper and buffed it out with fin compound. Looks shiny as if there were no streaks. They did a great job on my Z.

Photos of the effected area would be helpful.

Just use a polish to buff it out.

I had the same type of problem and used some Meguiars ScratchX and it took them all right out. Very good stuff and it's only like $6

How about NuFinish? Saw their commercial and my friend recommended it. I have some scuff mark from a boo boo that I made. I lightly scuffed against my sister's car and got some of her black paint on my PPW. There is some of her paint on my car and light scratches, will Scratch X take care of it?

Or Turbo Wax Swirl Remover, really does cover then up nicely. http://www.turbowax.com/product.php?...t=0&bestseller

Ultimately depends how deep the scratch is. Good products will hide a multitude of sins.

+1 what Bronzee said. It's going to matter how deep the scratches are. If you can feel your fingernail dig into the scratch when you rub over it, scratchX probably isn't going to be enough. I used it on a friends car over the weekend. He had a bunch of scratches near the key holes and handles on the car. WOW, GONE! Good luck and let me know...
