Default Help! Bottle of whiskey broke in my car

Driving home this evening, I stopped at a light, and two bottles that I had in my passenger footwall collided. While the impact was light, the bottle of Jim Beam shattered, and all 1.75L ended up on my carpet.

What do you all recommend I do to get the smell out of the carpet? I've scrubbed the floormat with some stain removing material, but what do you recommend for the carpet in the car? I can't really use the same stuff since it requires so much water. Any help is appreciated, especially since I can't stand Jim Beam (don't ask why I had it).

Default Shampoo

I would rent/borrow a carpet shampoo machine. They will clean carpets or fabric seats.

buy some fabreeze. Someone yacked in my last car and fabreeze completely removed the smell.

I'd be careful not to get pulled by the cops until you can remove the smell.

Scrub wish some kinda of foaming carpet cleaner then spray alot of extra strength Fabreeze.

Worked like a charm for me.

Thanks for the replies. I applied some Woolite to the carpet, and vacuumed it up. Initially, it seemed that the bourbon smell had disappeared, but after a few hours of "incubation", my car now smells like Woolite with a faint smell of bourbon. Guess I'll go to the store and buy some Febreeze...
