I'm about to go on a business trip near Houston, Tx soon. I'm trying to open a wings and beer business. Maybe i can stop by and do a detail. Not sure. I need to see how much time i will have.

superblack,

washing, claying, polishing, sealing, and waxing can't be done all in one day huh? i mean, it's super tough. just polishing alone looks like it could take the whole entire day with all those panels.

for a new person, most likely not. The thing is, with a porter cable, it would take a lot longer but be more safe than using a rotary. I can use a rotary and will finish it in a day but like a lot of cars, paint is in bad condition. You don't want to rush through it. If you start working at 8am and stop at 7pm, it would probably work.

very good write up... I was actually thinking about doing this when spring comes along and I take the Z out of storage (hopefully in 1 more month). I've always been afraid of using the portercable, but I think I'll give it a try this time
