Default 2006 WRX: Detailed

I finally got around to detailing my sister's 2006 WRX. The paint was in pretty rough shape - being almost 2 years old, constantly exposed to the elements, rarely washed, and never polished or waxed before.

I used the following process:

Meguiar's Clay Bar
Menzerna Intensive Polish with Porter Cable - orange pad
Menzerna Final Polish II with Porter Cable - white pad
Zaino Z-5 with Porter Cable - black pad
Zaino Z-6 Gloss Enhancer
Zaino Z-2 with Porter Cable - blue pad
Zaino Z-6 Gloss Enhancer

I owe a big thank you to Greg at Detailed Image for the tips and supplies!

On to the pics...and the last one is her new AVIC-D3 that replaced her D2

Nice job on the detailing. I think I'm going to order some Zaino too.

The car looks great!!! I'm thrilled to see the products and tips I suggested worked out well for you. The paint looks deep and glossy. Black always looks excellent when it's cared for. Thank you for sharing the pics! Let me know if I can help you any further.

I love the fact that Detailed Image's website has all the appropriate accessories to go with the product, although I know which pad goes with a particular polish, many do not! Great website Greg and thanks for your continued support here on the forums. Its nice to have professional advice when needed.
