Default Waffle Weave

Just went and got myself a nice waffle weave MF towel.. I like it a lot... Works great.. I used the drag technique on the sides.. But what do you guys do for the sides?? Do you just wipe with it or what..

I make it a point to NEVER drag anything across the surface of my car - all that does is risk introducing swirls and scratches.

If you must dry with a towel, pat dry.

Glad to hear you like the microfiber waffle weave drying towels, they work great and are typically quite safe to use. Similar to the above post, I use the blot drying technique. Basically you just put the towel down and lift it up and move it to a new area. If there is contamination in the towel this helps you prevent yourself from dragging it across the paint and minimize the risk of adding some ultra fine scratches.

same technique as above. The only exception is when Im about to buff out the car anyway, I will just drag it in that case. But when the car isnt due to be detailed that day its the blot method and an electrical leaf blower.
