Default Your Opinion on best week to week Wash.

Just curious what you guys like as a every day car wash. I wash my Z about once a week or so, usually no more than that cause i dont want to swirl the paint, but I would like to buy a car wash that is purchasable at Walmart or some sort of auto store. what do you guys use and like?

I use the one that is compatible with my wax/polish product - Zaino. You don't want to wash with something that is going to strip off your product, right?

No, i dont want anything that Strips Wax, and yes i have used both Meguiars gold class, and the zaino line, both work well, i want something to help conserve wax. any others you have tried and liked?

I have also used the Meguiars Deep Crystal as it is compatible with polymer polishes like Zaino.

my favorite is duragloss. It suds up very good without eating the wax or staining your trim. I would stay away from gold class. It stains trims pretty bad. Megs NXT is an iffy with me as well.

no problem.

The only place i know that sells duragloss at a store is "Car Quest". They sell many higher quality stuff than all of the Megs and Mothers products you see. Carquest is more of a professional detail line.

I have to confess. I have tried several car wash soaps but always revert to dishwashing detergent. Just shot me.

NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! that will not only eat the wax but it will start to go after your clearcoat

do you mean swirl marks or webbing because you cant get swirl marks from washing thats left from high speed buffing. webbing is those micro scratches you see mainly in sun light. im asuming you mean webbing. to tell you the truth there is nothing you could do to stop webbing from happening it comes from washing your car/dust in the while driving ect.... . you can def. reduce the amount of webbing by using a nice wax or sealer. feel free to wash your car as much as you want
