You can either hang it up to dry or run it through the dryer on low temperature. Don't put it up wet or it will likely develope mildew.

Wash it with other microfiber towels, not cotton towels. Liquid detergent is the thing to use.

When i get finished, I usually have 2 wash mitts, 2 Pakshak Waffle Weave Towels and 2 DF towel I used with Z6. They all go in the washer with liquid detergent. They get a 2nd rinse and then are dried in the dryer and stored for when used again.

If you dry any of your car towels excessively in the electric dryer it can make them hold a static charge that transfers over to the paint that cause more dust build up..............

Just a quick note on drying synthetic MF towels. Make sure you use low heat or air tumble.
I have had customers use high heat and run the dryer until the towels were hot. That melted the fabric, and rendered the towel useless for exterior use. Synthetic towels are sensitive to high heat.

And as Kevin stated they pick and hold a great static charge if dried with too much heat. Enough to transfer to the body and attract dust BIG TIME!!!
When you do dry them in a drier, pull them when they are still a touch moist or cold.
Then let them air dry.

yup.. i wash all my MF towels (waffle and the regular kind) using liquid detergent. I let it soak for a bit and then rinse it off and hang dry it for about 2 days in my garage. no mildew growing, feels and looks like new.. BTW, i also have the same MF towels from pakshak

How do you guys clean the small wax applicators? I read somewhere that its a good idea to remove the sponge inside but there aren't any openings to remove this (the applicator was from DF towels, the one that you get free with orders over $25).

Have not seen that applicator from DF! I received that kind of applicator from Zaino. The DF applicator I have, which I ordered, are made of the same material as their towels, fits on your fingers and does have a removeable sponge.

you can use distilled vinegar in the rinse cycle to make the microfibers plusher.
