That's because you are using cheap towels. A good microfiber towel starts at 10 dollars EACH. And that's for a small one. I see people buy the cheap 5 pack for 3 dollars. That's a no no. Towels are the most important thing to buy. You can do a nice polish job and if you have cheap or dirty towels, it will swirls and scratch up your car again. This is very important on black because flaws can be seen right away.

you know what makes most of the swirls tho. .the swirling motion. . on a black car i was told back n forth motion's the best when you go round and round thats what makes them swirls. . MR MIAGI was wrong. . . .

That depends. When using a light glaze, a circular motion is ok. Anything abrasive, you go in a back and forth motion by hand(even though i still don't recommend this). Your hand goes too slow to be swirl free. With a machine,it's going in a circular motion, but is much faster.

When adding a topper like a wax, you can go in a circular motion. If you are scratching up your clear when doing that, then your towel is crappy or your car is dirty to begin with. Wax is non abrasive and should never swirl your paint.

pics of my car in the sun this beautiful morning in NC. It's like a mirror. Swirl free and the Pinnicle Souveran still looking good on my car.

btw, can anyone tell me why when i upload my pics to photobucket, the quality of the picture itself gets worse? Pics look a lot better on my computer before being uploaded.

Nah, doesn't get dirty at all. I pull all the way in the back (i don't like parking in the front). Puddles which it rained yesterday over here. My car doesn't touch that spot, the rest is gravel and dry.

If you bought the Souveran from AutoGeek, then it was when they had the either a coupon or a two for one deal (which happened last Dec).

Anyways, I put on a coat of M21 last Sunday and I am definitely enjoying the look it gives my DB.

If I get home from work early enough for the sun to still be out, I'll snap a few pics for your comparison.

We carry the Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax at Detailed Image. All MY350Z members get 10% off with the coupon code "10off350Z" (case sensitive). If a bunch of you want the wax I'd be happy to run some sort of group buy on here for the members.

It's got to be done before feb 8th. I've got a shop sponsoring the car for a three day show and I need to get it cleaned up. I'll have a little more leeway since it'll be an indoor show. Maybe I can find someone nearby who can get it done.
