Micro Fiber Towels from Costco... Any good?
Found Costco has some microfiber towels, does anyone has experience with them... They are made in China and are 85% Polyester and 15% Polyamid... I am getting ready for my Zaino experience and want to make sure I use the right materials to clean up the car rather than scratch it... Please advice...
I don't know the ingredients for microfiber towels, but the only advice I've got is to check the stitching around the edges of the towels. Make sure that it is the same material as the towel itself. Sometimes they'll make a nice towel and then ruin it by putting a stiff plastic thread to hold the edges together, which can scratch your paint. pull the towel along the back of your hand and feel for any roughness.
Don't use them. The bare minimum for car usage should be an 80/20 mix. I have gotten into using MF towels and experimented with many brands and anything less on car paint will cause swirls.
I have a short page describing MF towels

Hope it helps a little
