Default stains from test pipes and exhaust??

Hey guys ive talked to a few guys about this. Most have said a light abrasive will polish it out but i just spent like 45 minutes scrubbing with the meguires stuff and its not makin much of a difference. Heres a pic of what it looks like. I would just take it to a professional and let them take care of it and never let it get that bad again but as most of you know already Oklahoma sucks *** and has nothing worth a **** for 150 miles. Let me know what you think.....

That area should not be a problem. I like Black Magic. Photos above at 58,000 miles.

i would say go get your self a clay bar and use that on the area. followed by a paint cleaner, like meguires paint clenaer they offer at a parts store. then buy some kind of polish other then scratch x. that is not really ment for removing stains. if you have a buffer that will make using the polish a lot easier. then after you remove yoru stain just wax and that should protect, but i would wax there often seeing how thats going on.

isnt that pretty harsh on the paint though? I just dont wanna scratch it too much ya know. But i guess my zaino would prob take them out. i dont have a PC or orbital nor do i have any idea how to use one lol.

Sounds generic but the products that you mentioned work well. Chrome polish is great for removing stains on paint. Its mildly abrasive and has excellent cleaning properties.

I would test any kitchen scrubber first. The sponge with the nylon net is safe.

Well, the answer is either acid to possibly clean it (nitric acid I think was the result of my google search). Or, having it re-polished. A local shop quoted me $60.

Not sure I'm going to do it.. since the potential for re-staining it in a rainy track session is a high probability.

The P21S Polishing Soap works very well and is a lot easier to use than the other polishes. Simple application and great results. It makes polishing my wheels a lot quicker than using a buffer and pad while trying to get all the little crevices without doing damage.

Sorry but that looks too far gone for metal polish.
