I'd second that. I picked one of those and a Cali Waterblade up off of Dr.Bonez suggestion. When I get home at night I dust the Z off since it sits near a field when I'm at work. Keeps the car nice and clean and helps get a lot of the loose "bug guts" of the car.

Yep, Cali duster for dust. For bugs, bird sh*t, water marks, etc use a quick detailing spray and a microfiber towel.

Try a leaf blower! I wouldn't recommend the gas type because I've heard they can spray oil, but an electric one will certainly blow the dust off!

Wal-Mart should have them, or just about any auto parts place. Make sure you the the California Duster. I've seen some cheaper knock offs out there & am not sure how they compare. I've used the Cali duster for years & it is the best!

What ever you do DON'T use the duster when the car is warm otherwise you'll melt the parafin wax that's on the mop threads. Wait until the morning. I do mine before I leave for work.

You've got to understand that it is a duster not a dirt cleaner. You brush it lightly over the surface and it will pick up the loose dust. If you drag it over the surface and it picks up larger particles it could cause minute scratches. It all depends on how clean your car is and how many layers of wax or whatever you personally use is on the paint. Black, no matter how careful you are is going to show some marks but they should only be in the wax not the paint.
