Default A good stainless steel cleaner

I bought a used RS*R Exmag GT II, going on tomorrow. I wanted to get the mufflers and tips looking all shiny. What process and product would you guys reccommend?

Thanks for the input.

Is that something that I can get at an Autozone or similiar store?

Do I need to do any prep for grime that is stuck on or just apply the product and wipe off?

I use a generic metal polish called Liberty. But of course it does not say concourse or salon on the bottle. About 35 cents/ounce. 30,000 miles on the exhaust above.

Mainly online, you won't find it too often in your everyday store. A distributor for the English Metal Polishes also markets Migliore, www.glimmerglassdetailing.com.

I like the Adams Metal Polishes (#1 & #2).

They are great and I like that you can only use one for light jobs or you can use it as a two stage system for tough stuff.

Well I wanted to get something done before we did the exhaust install on Saturday.

I ended up going with the Eagle One Never Dull. I was very happy with the results. I would be interested in trying a different product to see what difference if any there are. I wish they had a cleaner that was also a polisher. The tips looked amazing compared to where they were before the Never Dull.

Thanks for the tips. The pics of the Injen exhaust look great. I am guessing that you have to order that polish online?

Cleaner and polisher in an easy one step product = P21S Polishing Soap. After I get my wheels re-polished I am going to go back to P21S wheel cleaners and polisher. I learned the hard way of what a poor quality polish can do to Volks.

^ sounds good to me, I may have to pick up some of that, if shipping won't kill the price.

I switched over to Greg because he had the most reasonable shipping AND someone ALWAYS answers the phone during business hours when you have product or detailing questions. I gave up on Autogeek and Griots charges outrageous shipping.
