Default Migliore Cleaning Products THREAD

Don from Migliore was nice enough to send me some products. I will be reviewing these with pics and my own personal opinion.

I just got these today and packaging and colors look nice and very professional. All of the products smell good. Looks very promising and can't wait until i try it out.

I recently won some of the Migliore Original Wax here on My350Z. I need to find a good client's car to try it on and post a review

Default Migliore Wheel Wax and Tire Shine Guide and Review

After having your wheel protectant and tire shine ready, make sure you have some microfibers, tire brush, wax pad and your normal wash tools.

Wheel BEFORE picture:

1. Start putting your favorite shampoo in a bucket and sud it up.

2. Spray off your wheel to loosen up dirt and grime. Make sure your wheels are cool and in the shade.

3. Here is the wheel wet. Start getting out your tire brush. For the people with very very dirty tires, get a light degreaser out and use that with the brush.

4. Rinse off wheel again making sure any dirth from the tire scrubbing didn't fall on the wheels.

5. Use your wheel safe sponge and start washing your wheels. Make sure to get all the little spaces where dirt is hiding as well.

6. Rinse off wheel wheel with water.

7. Start drying your wheel with a clean microfiber towel.

Now it's time to get out the wheel protectant.

8. Use a wax pad and start wiping the pad in the protectant. Make sure to get a nice and even coat on the pad. Don't just cake up a lot.

9. Start wiping gently on the wheels. Make sure you get the product evenly on the wheels. Here you can see the the product hazing and drying on the wheels.

10. Now it's ready to be taken off. Take another clean microfiber towel and start buffing it off. Make sure to go gently.

11. Now look and feel how smooth your wheel finish is. If you want to test, you can spray water on it and the water will beat off the wheel showing that it's protecting the finish. This will repel dirt, dust, brake dust, and grime.

12. Now get out your Migliore Tire shine.

13. Start spraying the tires evenly. You can get a dirty , crappy microfiber towel to wipe on and off.

14. Buff the tires with a clean side of a towel one more time to make sure everything looks good.

Review:

The wheel wax actually does what it says it will do. I have use countless of wheel protectants that are just a cheap version of a crappy waxes. This actually beads off water. i have already tested it and driven it for over a two weeks in mud, water, dirty water (from the hurricane), and it still beads off dirt.

It gives the wheel a nice shine as you can see in the pic. My wheels weren't as glossy but after a coat, it was really slick. This really surprised me. I'm hoping to test out a couple of coats to see how far it actually goes as in term of durability.

The smell is a bit chemically but it's ok, it's just on the wheels so i don't mind. I rather have a product that smells bad and works than a product that smells good and doesn't work.

The tire shine gives off a more matte look. I prefer this than greasy super shinny tire shine. It doesn't sling off and dries fast. One thing though is with smaller tire sidewalls, i would suggest using a tire applicator. You don't want getting on the wheels. For people who want new looking tires, this is the tire shine to get.

VERDICT: I'm very happy with the wheel wax. I trust it on my 3000 dollar rims. It protects and shines. Great product.

I'm happy with the tire shine as well. I can't say how long the durability is since i put my tires through hell last couple of weeks for the wheel protectant test, so i will make another verdict hopefully in the near future. But it does make the tires look good. It's a good combo for those of you wanting a wheel and tire protectant while still making wheels and tires looking new.
