Default Milky Wax

When i had my car detailed, the person put on a coat of wax. Looks like it was put on by a buffer. The finish seems to be dull and milky. Any ideas what could be the cause of this?

well not knowing what kind of buffer he used to put it on its hard to say why it looks like this. could be he used a high speed buffer with a cutting pad and messed up the surface or the wax he used was not very good. so many things that could have made this happen. i would bring it back to the guy and make him fix it, if he cant make him pay for a expericanced detailer to fix it.

I only like to apply wax by hand or a finishing pad, then again he may have applied it to a hot surface or failed to completely wipe it off. Definately take it back to be corrected.
