Newly painted Data System spoiler. How long before applying Zaino?
Had the Nissan dealer paint and install a Data System spoiler (Chrome Silver). Looks great. How long should I wait before I apply Zaino? Claybar? The car is garaged. Also, what about washing the car around it in the meantime? Thanks

You can definitely wash the car with a diluted car wash detergent. Make sure you wash that piece first, and rinse it right away before doing the rest of your car.
As far as any type of waxing, you really need to let the paint fully cure for about 60 days to be absolutely sure you don't damage the finish.
Good Luck!

If the paint system is base coat/clear coat you can apply Zaino in one week or less, base coat/clear coat systems cure with a chemical hardener, they do not have to outgas like older single stage paints. I have applied Zaino to the roll pan we painted for my Silverado within a couple of hours of the paint being dry with no problems. Zaino is not a wax........

You can hand wash the car after about a week, but absolutely no drive thru car washes for at least 3 months. As far as the clear bra is concerned, I honestly would not even think about putting it on your car for about 60 days. Believe it or not it really does take time for that paint to cure.
If you install the bra sooner, I can almost guarantee that if you were to try to remove it, like someone else mentioned you will have the worlds largest fruit roll up in your hands.
I would say a light wax with no abrasives in it would be fine after 30 days, but again, no Clay bars, or compounds for about 90 days.
If I can answer any other questions about the Clear Bra for you, just le me know. Always happy to help out a fellow enthusiast!
Take Care, and good luck!
