Don't need a "Buffer"! Don't need "Arm Force"! You are going to be pleasantly surprised! More like hand force, assuming you have those 100% Cotton Fieldcrest towels. I am assuming the high temp and low humidity had a lot to do with it, but the Z2 w/o ZFX went on easier and off easier. Like Bonz has mentioned, more drying time required. If you are patient, leaving in the garage over night works great. That is, assuming you can sleep Vs jumping up and to the garage and wanting to buff and throw on that final coat of Z6.

Ok, bite the bullet and made my order.

Went with Z1 instead of ZFX, Z5 and Z6.

Now it said to 'lotion' up the car with Z1 then use Z5 after it Haze up. Question is, when I apply the Z5 will it rub off the Z1 (or is it suppose to?) Also they said to use a Cotton towel to apply the Z1, but don't the towel absorb most of it?
Anyone had the idea (or used) like a plastic sandwich bag to apply it?

The Z-1 like the ZFX is a chemical catalyst activator for the polish to make a tighter bond with the paint, as soon as you put the Z-1 on the paint (use Z-1 sparingly and rub it completely into the paint) it is ready to put Z-2 or z-5 on top of the z-1, you do not have to wait any time period.

The z-1 is not rubbed off, it mixes with the Z-2 or Z-5 on the surface and becomes one product.

Most of my customers use the Zaino applictor to apply the Z-1,2, and 5.

I dont understand what you mean about the plastic bag??????

Spreads it out without absorbing it.

I don't think you'll be able to apply it thin enough with a plastic bag. If you don't get a Zaino applicator, use any wax applicator pad (cotton over foam) or just a cotton washcloth. Dampen before you start applying.

yeah, plastic bag to spread the Z1. Thought about putting the Zaino pad inside like a plastic sandwich bag and then apply the Z1.

You might refer back to the Zaino.com web site, perhaps under claying or "Tip and Tricks", or Doc Bonz, but I believe the answer is yes! I think they suggest after initial "Claying" once a year is sufficient.

Yes you can and it doesn't really remove your Zaino either. It just gets out the debis that might have been embedded in your layers. As Sal says, it's like taking out a splinter that sticks out of your skin a little bit.

The Zaino treatment layers sound like a big hassle and is
confusing for the most part.

However, my first application was the following:

1.Washed the car with Dawn (orginal blue dishsoap).
2.Used Z7 solution to lubricate as I clayed the car.
3. Z1 and then Z2.

My car looks like glass.

For in between car washes I dust the car with a California Duster and a smaller one just for the wheels.
Then I spray and wipe of Z6.

Once you get it down it doesn't take any time at all. And the
return on your investment of your time is UNBELIEVABLE!

Enjoy,
