wash the car first... dry it... then wear some latex gloves when you clay the car... the bar gets slippery at times and you don't want to drop that. Also, make sure you have enough lubricant on the area you're working on. after claying, apply your zaino stuff and stand back and DROOL

I am assuming with the Zaino, they sent you their instructions? Follow! No shortcuts! Go to their site and look at "Tips & Tricks". Some good advice on the previous post. Never considered wearing gloves. Made a couple of good grabs before mine hit the cement. If it does, throw it away and get a fresh bar. I think the next time I will actually put down a blanket.

Heres some advice. Wash car with dawn and water. When all dirt is off, use a car wash soap mixed with water and lubricate one area at a time. Then go over it with the bar. Break it off into sections. Hood and roof then dry. You get the picture. Wash again with car wash soap and water when you're finished.

One note about the lubrication, make sure you dont have too much soap in your mixture. I made that mistake once and the claybar started falling apart! I believe the zaino instructions recommend a half cap full of Z-7 (or other car wash) per 12 ounces of water. If you stick to that you will be fine.
