Default Should I use dish soap????

I will be doing my very first detail on my Z tomorrow and I just got all my stuff from Detailed Image so I am ready to go. A buddy told me that before I clay bar I should wash the Z with dish soap to take all the old wax off. I know that I wash the Z before I clay bar but I have always been told to never use dish soap. What should I do??? Thanks

Dish soap is usually recommended. Itll strip old wax. Just remember to rewax afterwords.

I want to do this so bad but it takes so much time. What buffer are you using for the polishing?

G/L OP its not a fun process but well worth it.

I just got a Flex XC 3401 VRG from Detailed Image, and I took a day off work to do it. This will be my first time using a buffer but this buffer is said to be very safe to the paint.
