Does anyone know about dampening your towels before waxing? I heard somewhere about doing this but i cant figure out if youre supposed to do it before applying wax or when taking off the wax, or even if its needed. Anyone know?

 

It's an old trick. Having a very lightly dampened applicator helps to keep the wax from being absorbed into the pad. It also aides in a smoother spread. Used mainly for paste type waxes, even though Zaino recommends you spray Z6 on the pad before apply the Z2/Z5.
