You mean Z6 after washing and drying the car? I apply Meguiars Quick deatiler spray after Zaino applications. The streaking looks like its from the clay bar now that i think of it

You should be using Z-6 as the detailer, not Meguiars Quick Detailer.

If you want the most out of your Zaino, you have to use the whole system. Order some Z7 for washing and order some Z6 to apply before and after using either Z2 or Z5.

As for the streaks, do you use a California Duster to remove dust between washings? If you do, then this may be the issue as well. The California dusters have wax applied to the head of the duster to make dirt stick to the duster. When they are new, there is more wax. They recommend wrapping the duster in newspaper for two days before you use it for the first time. I have noticed some wax residue on my finish after using a newer duster. It wipes off pretty easily, but I am sure it would cause streaks if I didn't make the effort to remove the wax. Of course, if you don't use the California Duster, then I just typed a lot of stuff for nothing.......lol

Take "Wedge's" advice. If you are going to Zaino, use only Zaino starting with Clay, Z5, Z2, Z6 and Z7. You shouldn't "drink and drive" and you don't mix "Meguiars with Zaino"!

I will try again to help.
Dawn DOES NOT strip off Zaino. Here is a snipet from Dr. Bonzs' interveiw with Sal Zaino.

On stripping off Zaino
There were several users who felt that one must eventually bite the bullet and strip off all of their Zaino layers and start anew. I asked him about this. "You never have to strip off Zaino, that's one of the beauties of the product". He explained that since it never dulls or yellows, you can stack it without the need for stripping. I can't tell you how happy I was to hear about this since I don't think my back would be up to stripping and reapplying all 35 layers! Sal then went on to tell me of stories he has heard through e-mail and on the internet about people using things like alcohol or Dawn to strip Zaino. "Dawn does not strip off Zaino", according to Sal.
