Hey I just bought my 2004 Z is it safe to go ahead and wax it now? I hear ppl say its not good to wax a new car... need some advice.

That is a myth. It is OK to wax/polish ASAP. Even if it was true, your paint has already been "curing" on the car for at least a couple of months on it's ride over here from Oppama and it may have sat on a dealers lot for a few as well.
