Default Niteshade overspray

So I tinted my tails/turn signals awhile back with VHT Niteshades and I masked off everything around both lights but apparently some overspray managed to get on my rear fenders. At first it felt like the orange peel type before I clay bared it, now its smooth as the rest of the paint but you can still visually tell there is overspray on it. Would I be able to buff or maybe polish this out? Thanks for the help

You should have taken them off of the car before spraying them

worse case scenario yes, you can use WET 2000-4000 grit and actually sand ti lightly if you know what u are doing ( dont even think about it if not) and then buff it.

Sanding gets stuff off, well, like sandpaper..
buffing just cuts the clear coat and buffs it back to a shine, but buffing over somethng other than swirls doesnt really cut the substrate off the paint.

You will have to do both, one then the other.

I was in the same situation when I did my old car. I got some turtle wax rubbing compound and that took it off in less than 5 min. Just be sure to wax after u use the rubbing compound.
