Default Brilliantly Detailed- Nissan 350z

this is my first post on my350z, hope you guys like the pics in this thread:P

i did a friend of a friends 350z a few days ago, car was pretty clean to begin with, just needed a little love. It had a few scratches all over the body, the front bumper has to be repainted because of all the rock chips.

his main concern was getting out random scratches that were in some spots, and also smoothing out the headlights. the lights were crystal clear, but were lightly pitted because of rocks flying into them. nothing a little wet sanding couldnt fix:P

process:

wash with chenille mitt and 2 bucket method with grit guards (helps prevent swirl marks)
clean tires and rims
clay bar paint
dress exterior trim and rubber
one-step polish/seal with a polishing pad on DA polisher
clean glass
treat convertible top with 303 Fabric Protectant
wipe down car with quick detailer

headlights were wet sanded with different grades of sandpaper, then compounded, polished, and sealed.

i wish the car was a darker color so it would really look like a mirror, but its nice nonetheless:P

here are some pics of how it turned out:

scratch gone:

when I dropped the car back to the guy i parked it in front of a dry cleaners, the owner came out and said: "Move it! its too shiny its blinding me!"

haha:P

Is it OK for a non-sponsor to be advertising here?

What's funny? Other businesses have to pay to advertise here. You've got 3 posts, so what other reason do you have for being here? Is that your Z?

Looks nice, but this falls into territory which requires sponsorship. Its obvious you're selling services as a business. If you need more information, I'll be glad to pm you links to contact IB for sponsorship status. Otherwise I'll let you keep the pics up, but I'm removing your links to the business and closing this thread. You are free to post here as a member, but any further attempts to solicit business without sponsor status will earn you an insta-ban.
