Marvel Mystery Oil kills rust
Just a small review and some pics of using Marvel Mystery Oil to remove surface rust.
Now that spring has finally hit the North East I decided to finally give the Z a deep clean. My exhaust had its *** kicked with all the salt and snow and started to develop a decent amount of surface rust. I plan on doing the rear bumper tuck, but was hesistant because of how nasty the mufflers/expansion tank looked.
So I asked on a local car forum about what people use to remove surfact rust. I got a suggestion for a baking soda/water paste and another for Marvel Mstery oil(MMO). I decided I'd go with MMO only because I knew I would be heading to Autozone to pick up other stuff to clean the car. Here's some before and after pics.

This was with 5 minuets of work. Put MMO in a spritz bottle and did a quick spray and wipe. It came right off. Now there's still some spots that are a little worse, but it was recommended to spray them and let it sit over night and follow up with another spray/wipe.
I'll post pics of that tomorrow. I'll plan on wrapping the whole clean up with Meguiar's metal polish.
