Default Keeping paint from fading?

Just bought a Z Redline 350z. The paint is still in great condition (besides some scratches here and there) and I'd like to keep it that way..Unfortunately, I don't have a garage where I live.

I'm not very familiar with the exterior products out there. All I usually do is wash my car once every two weeks.

What would be the best way to keep the paint from fading?
Any wax recommendation that lasts long and is durable?
Any tips on removing hairline scratches?

Any product recommendations to keep the dashboard/console from fading?

Check out these two websites. They can probably give you all the information you will need to keep your car looking great.

I have a 2003 350z Redline, and the paint looks new... Really!

The only thing I've done is regular washings and waxings.

I'm a detailer..

My black Z has zero swirls/defects

You want a sealant not just wax) a sealant will last longer. I use Blackfire Wet Diamond for example

Removing hairline scratches tryh m205 with a microfiber cutting pad/orange LC pad/or yellow LC pad.. if the yellow with 205 doesn't cut it.. step up to m105 with orange pad or microfiber cutting pad.. then finsih down with m 205 and LC white pad.. if that seems overwhelming take it to a pro... BTW you should also caly bar before any of the above.

As far as the dash.. I use aerospace 303 protectant it has great UV blocking.. window tint will also help

I agree with chad about keeping paint fed with a sealant. But summer sun is paint's worst enemy. A cheap cover will help with uv fading. Probably help with headlight fogging too. gl

Thanks for the feedback so far.

I think I would have to take care of the hairline scratches and the messy cover up paint from the previous owner.

Any product recommendations? What steps should I take?

In case I decide to go with a professional detailer, what service is it called when they remove scratches and make the paint look brand new? <--- proof I don't know much about the detailing side of cars, lol.
