Going for my 8th coat of CGQ today!
It's finally a little sunny and I actually have a couple days off so I am gonna wash and let it sit all night.
Will wash and buff and post new pics tommorow, going to a car show.
www.importmotion.com can't wait!
I haven't waxed my car since the last application several months ago before winter even started and it has been rained on etc for months and still beads better than any product I have ever used and I am lazy, this application will take 30 minutes
.
I have no vested interest in this product, I just like it.
new pics to follow here is an old one, been awhile (months.)

Done,
Rinsed good (man never seen her this dirty) washed with McGuier's Gel Soap, did the rims good and the front calipers, rinsed.
Use car wash rag for new paint (forgot what they are called) to remove excess water starting from top to bottom (car has a full body kit now.)
Applied Ctystal Guard Quick thouroughly with micro fiber from top to bottom (didn't do the windows this time, too much work to remove with my haze method.)
Took it for a run around the block a few times to get drips off while running wipers and opening and closing windows.
Park in garage resmooth over water spot drip areas with same microfiber and thin layer till smooth. Do mirrors.
Let it marinate till tommorow aprox 24 hours then was again, rinse and slightly buff where needed. Pics after the car show!

Justed washed and dried it by hand, what to look for is the depth of the blue and the mirror effect. This is my first coat since Nov. and I am amazed, I am sold on this stuff for good.

It's a simple wash then apply then wash two step process called Crystal Guard Quick, you don't have to let it sit overnight, I just do that on my own you can wash it off right after applying it. I prefer to let it set overnight to bond but you don't have to. I have 2/3 a bottle of my second bottle after 8 coats and the first bottle was the sample bottle that only did 3 coats. What I have left will last over a year!

This pic was taken on an overcast day uploaded to Paint Shop Pro, compressed at 40 % to get it to a 120kb file size then made to 640x480 to conform to forum standards. The originals are in 1600x1200 and have been retained. This is a weeks worth of rain after my 8th coat and no washing.

Above in pic one at the front of my bumper that reflection is my house.
Below look for the cloudy skies and the trees along my fencline in my roof, again this is after a week of rain on a 1.5 year old car highly reduced in size and quality.

Did you have any bonding issues? I found out that crystal guard doesn't bond to your paint until the 3rd day or 4th day depending on the temperature of the weather. So when it get rained on before those period they just wash off. I am really impressed with the results that i get from the CGQ but the bonding issue is what keeps me from using other products.
I haven't had any bonding issues at all in summer or winter (hot or cold.)
In the summer I always applied it out of direct sunlight in the garage and I have always let it sit longer than directed.
Actually, just prior to a rain I will apply a coat and let it sit on until the rain rinses it off lol.
So if you know it is gonna rain for a week in 2 days put on a coat and let it stay on, I assure you it will bond and your car will thank you after the rain washes it off.
