Default Clear bra stain

A big yellow bug splattered on my clear bra. I wiped it off when I got home however there is now a stain. I called the installer and he told me to try adhesive remover or electric buffer I'm too scared to do either without some advice. My baby is ppw and only 20 days old. I did wash and do the Zanio last Sunday. Do you think the clay bar and dawn will remove it. Thanks in advance for any help.

Lol... that sucks. I am not sure how a buffer would take out a stain. Did you try some bug and tar remover?

Ive got a couple bug stains on my clear bra too. I woulda thought the 8 coats or so of Zaino would have protected it. Little bastards!

From what I've been told, clear bras are impervious to organic stains. They will eventually wear away. It all depends how deep the stain embedded the pores and how long the guts were acidic. I had a massive bug splatter on my bumper. It took about 8 months before it faded. Thank god my car is blue! This was through 5 coats of zaino also.

Tgank God, because everything i tried didn't work. But I will list incase anyone else goes throught this. Washed and clay bar (seemed to lighten just a little) then used paint cleaner (nothing) Alcohol (nothing) then I got desperate and tried oxi-clean paste (still nothing) and for all my trouble had to wax the car all over again. That part wasn't so bad, I got out of cooking dinner!

this forum is full of great advice. the same thing happened to me yesterday and it was 'buggin' me all night. So now I find out - it will wear away ... after a couple of months.

ARGH.

How about the same stain on my clearcoat? I have two on clearbra and one on clearcoat. Should I clay or what is the cheapest solution?

When I was in CA, I got the yellow stains in my clear bra also--Tried everything, wouldn't come out. They disappeared after a week or so..don't worry.
