Is there anywhere to order detailing towels online? I need something that isn't going to scratch my clearcoat. I have a super black touring and have minor swirl marks from towels. I will be using zaino this summer and once I start using it I want some good towels that will make it shine. thanks

A bunch of questions,
what types of towel are cannon and fieldcrest? are they the same as cotton? I thought cotton, like the shower towel are the best to finish up wax and polish off the car.
What do you guys use to apply wax and polish, I brought one of those foam applicators from Pep boys and I don't really like it. After I apply wax, I can squeez more wax out of the applicator, seems like the wax just get stucked in the applicator, is this normal?
My neighbor showed me this once when applying wax, he took my towel, a shower towel, wet it first, then use it too apply wax while it's wet. Is this technic correct?
Also, what are the steps of detailing again? I heard if you buy a set from magcuire you should start off with the highest number to the smallest. correct?
At last, when applying and drying off the wax and polish off the car, do you fellaz do swirls or back and fourth? I have learned it's best to do back and fourth.
Thanks fellaz

Cannon and Fieldcrest are 100% Cotton towels. However, if you have a dark color, like the "Brick" you questioned having 51 layers, if you use those towels you will eventually see "swirls".
I use Zaino Polish, so can't comment on other waxes. I can tell you this, you won't be squeezing Zaino Polish out of your applicator! I get the towels and applicator from: www.dftowel.com Suggest you look at: www.zainobros.com for "steps of detailing". You will also find out how to apply polish at that site. However, should you choose not to use Zaino, it is up and down on sides or vertical portions and side to side on hood, top and upper part of hatch. Continue what you learned "best", but consider Zaino.

May I mention the alternative I use - I like to wash my previously waxed Z with clear water - then take a wet chamois (that was been squeezed out) - and pull it over the surfaces of the auto. A chamois can absorb 7 times it's weight in water. The parts of the auto that a chamois may not be pulled over - wipe with the chamois after squeezing the water from it. This procedure works great for me!
sorry to hijack.. but the website says the DF Towels are great for dusting also. They say its better than the "west coast duster" (Cali Duster). to those who have it, care to comment?
Never tried them like that but they are so soft that they probably would work for dusting.
The only thing is that the California Car Duster is treated with a paraffin wax to grab and hold the dust. The towels obviously wouldn't do this.
