Zaino Q & A - All questions welcomed
I'm probably in the 20 coat range with my DB. Just found something that makes applying the Z2 even faster: red wax pad from Griot's Garage (with holder).

Dampen it and squeeze out the water. Make a stripe of Z2 along the axis of your hand and arm (vertically if you look at your palm). Swipe it back and forth on each panel and you can literally cover the whole car in a couple of minutes. Puts on a very thin layer.
Back to the car for more layers!

That wax pad looks pretty think.
I purchased a Viking pad from autozone, and it took me awhile to realize it was soo thick it was eating all the product!!!
I use the yellow foam ones that I got from a Mcguires package.

The product rides well on the top of the red pad and doesn't really sink in. I put two coats of Z2 on today and only mixed up about 3/8" of Z2 and ZFX in one of the little mixing bottles.
