Opinions on car wash needed
I have run out of Zaino Z-7 car wash and since it will take me a week to order and get more I'm looking to find something local to use. I assume that just about any commercial car wash would work fine and not remove the Zaino. Anybody got any experience with other car washes and Zaino?
Thanks

Actually, on my last order I bought two bottles. With three Zainoed cars and my Z getting washed weekly I went through it pretty quick.
This time I ordered two bottles to use on my Z and stopped by Wal-Mart and picked up a huge bottle of Meguires for under $4. I'll use that on the other two cars.

To tell you the truth, in the past I never worried much about it. After my cars were several years old, they didn't exactly look great. I, like most others, washed with dish detergent, used cheap waxes that didn't last long, used polishes that contained grit that actually damaged the paint job and put scratches and swirls into it. All because I didn't know better and there was nobody to tell me any different.
When I ordered my Z, during the three months that it took to arrive, I studied everything I could about car care (isn't the internet great?). I read thousands of posts on Autopia.org, this and other Z forums plus Bonz's Zaino dissertation on 350ZFrenzy.com. I've picked up a lot of tips and tricks on detailing and regularly put them to good use. Best of all, I actually enjoy detailing my Z instead of approaching it as a "chore". Hell, I get depressed when the weather is bad on the weekend because I can't wash it then take it out on the town to show her off.
After 4 months, I still get a lot of compliments on my Z, especially the color and how brilliant and shiny it is. It still looks better than it did when I picked it up from the dealer.
I went to an autoX event the past Saturday and got several compliments on the car. The most glowing of which came from a Porsche owner-- made my day!

No problem Doc, got two more bottles coming Fedex courtesy of Kevin O, our resident Zaino and DF distributor. They should be here in time for a Friday of Zaino rituals.
