Default q for bradford or any1 else with experiance

i love polishing my cars by hand because of the precision ot offers me, i have a machine (rotary) i know how to use it , have done great things with it but its jsut so brute i have no true precision, so to the story i was detailing a freinds white 330ci which is about 9 months old and has never been waxed and been thourgh many a automated car wash. so basically the car looked decent cause it was new but it was swirl city. after claying i broke out some 3m swirl mark remover and gave the car 4 shots with it by hand, and still the swirls were there ao as a last resort i tried the buffer on the hood with a foam polishing bad and the 3m, i totally removed the swirl it looked ausome, the problem is am realizing that its almost imposible to get rid of bad swirls by hand, but i hate doing a car with the buffer not cause of risk of damage but because it offers no precision its so goofy , and there are parts that are a ***** to get to , i need some insight , have you totally gotten rid of bad swirls by hand? if so how? insight people helpppppppppp

BEFORE you let the machine touch your Z (were talking about a rotary here people, not an orbital) go back to your freinds car, and wipe down a clean area with some alcohol. You coul've casued buffer merks that just arn't visible with the polish oils and wax covering them up.

If you did a good job, just work on your finnese on some beater cars (anthing but your pride and joy) and work ongetting your technique down really good. Just takes alot of proactice. If you have ssen someone with experience use one of theese its really a sight to behold.
